Finally back out there!
This past weekend my dog, Finn, and I went for an overnight backpack trip on a trail here in Texas. It was the first time I’ve been on an overnighter since way back in September when we went out in the Shenandoah National Park back in Virginia. All this mostly idle time in Texas while waiting on a liver transplant has me sucking wind on the trail these days. I needed some non-conventional medicine in the form of nature. Finn needed it too. He’s been giving me these looks lately that suggest he is not happy with our current state of non-movement. I hear ya buddy! Of course, you know I took some video of the trip. Give it a look-see if you want.

I’m glad to see you had a chance to do another over-nighter!
I also liked the still photographs in between the video.
Hope this damn surgery happens already so you can start making plans again! Stay in touch!!!
Thanks Barbara! That makes two of us! Hope all is going well with you.
Great to see you back doing what you love!
Thanks! I’m trying!
Good boy, Finn! Way to convince your human to take you out hiking and camping!
When my wife picked us up he tries to run back down the trail. He did not want to go home!
