Guess I’m A Writer

I wrote and published a few books so I thought I better get one of them websites out there. In 2021 I published my first book and have been going strong(ish) ever since. I always wanted to be a writer since I read my first Steven King book. In my early adult years I wrote several short stories but I never published anything. Hell, I barely showed them to people I knew. I ended up posting some of my stories on Facebook Notes later on and much to my surprise, most people actually liked them. I kept getting comments that I should publish something. Instead, I started a blog and decided to showcase some of my writing there. After a few years of quite a few positive feedbacks, I went ahead and wrote my first novel, Sawyer’s Run. I self published it on Amazon and while it didn’t take the world by storm, it did get some very good reviews. I write because I have too. The pressure of ideas builds up in my head until I can get them down in the written word. I also write because I am an addict. I often tell my family and friends that it’s like a drug. If something I have written can make another laugh, cry, or just say WTF, I get off on it. It’s like my own little meth lab without the explosions or DEA raids. So here I am. Lee Lovelace – Writer.

Hayden Harrison once solved a murder. Hayden was not a police detective. He worked for the U.S. Government but he wasn’t an FBI investigator, or even a U.S. Marshall. Hayden specifically worked for the U.S. Navy, yet he wasn’t an NCIS investigator either. Hayden was just a lowly civilian electronics technician specializing in operating, maintaining, and repairing radar systems. It just sufficed to say, Hayden had no experience whatsoever investigating murders. However, what he would come to learn was that troubleshooting complex electronic weapons systems required a particular set of skills that were not so different than the ones that were required to investigate a murder. The major difference being that the electronic systems he troubleshot were not likely to want to do him harm, as opposed to the murderer suspects who got troubleshot.
