Meet the Tramily of The Last Hike!

Meet Jack “Hooker Tush” Herring. He’s an Appalachian Trail thru-hiker that has reluctantly become the father figure in his tramily. If you want to know where his trail name came from, you’ll have to read the book. However, don’t confuse him with an old fogey. He’s a jokester that has no filter. Listen to some of the words that come out of his mouth.

Meet Starlight. She is an experienced hiker with a no-nonsense attitude. She’ll let you know right away that she is no girly-girl. She is a tough female and can out hike just about anyone on the trail. She didn’t go out looking for a tramily, but she got one anyway when she ran into a couple of other hikers on The Last Hike.

Meet Diva. He’s the self proclaimed gayest hiker on the Appalachian Trail. He kept his tramily in stiches with his fun loving attitude and also the glue that kept them together.

Meet Juggernaut and Cheese. They are part time members of the Suicide Squad Tramily, always showing up right when they are needed. Listen to some of the couple’s dialogue.

And finally, meet our protagonist, Paul “Suicide Squad” Jackson. This was his Last Hike. He intended on hiking it in solitude but that’s not quite how it worked out. This journey led him to some of the most important people in his life. Listen to some of the things he has to say.

Hayden Harrison once solved a murder. Hayden was not a police detective. He worked for the U.S. Government but he wasn’t an FBI investigator, or even a U.S. Marshall. Hayden specifically worked for the U.S. Navy, yet he wasn’t an NCIS investigator either. Hayden was just a lowly civilian electronics technician specializing in operating, maintaining, and repairing radar systems. It just sufficed to say, Hayden had no experience whatsoever investigating murders. However, what he would come to learn was that troubleshooting complex electronic weapons systems required a particular set of skills that were not so different than the ones that were required to investigate a murder. The major difference being that the electronic systems he troubleshot were not likely to want to do him harm, as opposed to the murderer suspects who got troubleshot.
